Driveway Gates (One Door Gates)

Our one-door driveway gates come as kits producing gates 8 to16 feet wide and 6, 7, or 8 feet tall). The kits come with all the gear needed for assembly and installation–including support posts and good pictorial installation instructions. The only item not included is fencing material for the gate door, which should be cut from the material being used to build your fence and attached by means of attachment ties provided with the gate.

These driveway gates are black like our deer fences and are made with the same black round posts and pipes. Their appearance is therefore compatible with any fence made with black round posts and is also compatible with many other fences.

In general, it is a good idea to set the support posts for this gate (especially the post supporting the gate door) in cement footings. One doesn’t want these gate posts to move, because that might cause the gate to stop working; and the easiest way to prevent any possibility of such movement is to use cement footings.
